• Re-engineered 4.2 TDI to reduce consumption by 1.2 liters to 9.9 liters per 100 km (23.76 US mpg) and increase output to 250 kW (340 hp)
• Efficiency-enhancing energy recovery system for all V6 and V8 models

• Six-speed tiptronic and quattro permanent all-wheel drive with 40:60 torque split

Chassis

• Wheel suspensions in lightweight design with speed-dependent steering control (servotronic)
• Adaptive air suspension with electronic damping control optionally available (standard equipment in 4.2 TDI and V12 TDI)
• Ceramic brake disks front and rear as new option for V8 engines (standard equipment in V12 TDI)

Body

• Sporty design with revised contours
• Elegant interior with exclusive materials and further refinements in styling
• Extremely spacious and highly variable interior, with up to seven seats as a customer option and luggage space of up to 2,035 liters (71.87 cubic feet)
