Three Porsche premieres in Germany
Stuttgart/Leipzig.
Dr. Ing. h.c. F. Porsche AG of Stuttgart, Germany, will present three new
vehicles at the 16th Auto Mobil International (AMI) in
Leipzig.
The 911 Turbo, the 911 GT3 and the Cayenne Turbo
S will be celebrating their German Motor Show debut at the event from April
1 - 9, 2006. This presentation in the new exhibition hall is a real home
game for the Cayenne Turbo S, which is built in the Porsche factory only
a few kilometers away. The world's most powerful SUV will be available in
German dealerships from March 18. The new sports car models will follow in
May (911 GT3) and on June 24 (911 Turbo) this year. Porsche Germany chief
Bernhard Maier said, "We are delighted to be represented here in Leipzig
by three top-class new vehicles. Our intention is that these models will
not only strengthen our position in Germany but will also demonstrate the
high performance levels of which we are capable." The Porsche exhibition
stand is in Hall 5. In addition to the three new vehicles, the Stuttgart-based
manufacturer will present its entire current model range on a surface area
of 836 square meters. Around 275,000 visitors are expected at this year's
AMI. 450 exhibitors from some 20 countries have registered. The Show, which
covers an area of 130,000 square meters, is open daily from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. |
