Audi Q7 V12 TDI quattro

Audi is taking TDI technology to new heights: The Audi Q7 V12 TDI quattro is the world’s first passenger car powered by a 12-cylinder TDI engine.

A common rail fuel injection system builds up an injection pressure of 2,000 bar (29007.55 psi). The 5934 cubic centimeter capacity produces 368 kW (500 bp) of power and 1,000 Nm (737.56 lb-ft) of torque, delivering supreme levels of performance. The Audi Q7 races from zero to 100 km/h (62.14 mph) in just 5.5 seconds, and has a governed maximum speed of 250 km/h (155.34 mph). The six-liter engine consumes an average of 11.3 liters per 100 km (20.82 US mpg). The drivetrain – the six-speed tiptronic transmission and the quattro four-wheel drive – has been extensively enhanced in order to transmit the massive amounts of power generated, while the adaptive air suspension system provides a sports setup. The Audi Q7 V12 TDI quattro comes on 20-inch wheels as standard. Behind them are high-performance brakes with internally ventilated carbon fiber ceramic disks, gripped by a total of 24 calipers. The Audi Q7 V12 TDI is visually striking too. Seen from the side, its most distinctive elements are the very wide wheel arches. At the front end, daytime running lights with white LEDs are the key feature. The front and rear apronshave been restyled; the rear lamp backing is darkened in color; and two large oval exhaust pipes accentuate the rear.

Audi provides the world’s most powerful diesel SUV with luxurious features and fittings. Among the highlights are a DVD navigation system, a sound system, an interior lighting package, a power tailgate and electrically adjustable and heated leather sports seats. The carpet is velour. Carbon trims imbue the central tunnel with a techno touch.
