A common rail fuel injection system builds up an injection
pressure of 2,000 bar (29007.55 psi). The 5934 cubic centimeter capacity
produces 368 kW (500 bp) of power and 1,000 Nm (737.56 lb-ft) of torque,
delivering supreme levels of performance. The Audi Q7 races from zero to
100 km/h (62.14 mph) in just 5.5 seconds, and has a governed maximum
speed of 250 km/h (155.34 mph). The six-liter engine consumes an average
of 11.3 liters per 100 km (20.82 US mpg). The drivetrain the
six-speed tiptronic transmission and the quattro four-wheel drive
has been extensively enhanced in order to transmit the massive amounts of
power generated, while the adaptive air suspension system provides a sports
setup. The Audi Q7 V12 TDI quattro comes on 20-inch wheels as standard. Behind
them are high-performance brakes with internally ventilated carbon fiber
ceramic disks, gripped by a total of 24 calipers. The Audi Q7 V12 TDI is
visually striking too. Seen from the side, its most distinctive elements
are the very wide wheel arches. At the front end, daytime running lights
with white LEDs are the key feature. The front and rear apronshave been restyled;
the rear lamp backing is darkened in color; and two large oval exhaust pipes
accentuate the rear.
Audi provides the worlds most powerful diesel
SUV with luxurious features and fittings. Among the highlights are a DVD
navigation system, a sound system, an interior lighting package, a power
tailgate and electrically adjustable and heated leather sports seats. The
carpet is velour. Carbon trims imbue the central tunnel with a techno
touch.
