Maybach 57 S: Dynamic PerfectionStuttgart - The 2005 IAA show in Frankfurt marks the sales launch of the latest addition to the Maybach model line-up: the newly developed 57 Spezial.
Design emphasises dynamic character Visual highlights add emphasis to the distinctly dynamic character of this impressively powerful luxury saloon. They include an exclusive monochrome colour scheme featuring special black or silver paint finishes, a modified front section with an enhanced radiator grille and revised light units, a discreet "57 S" legend on the front wing below the A-pillar and on the boot lid, as well as striking new 20-inch spoked wheels. The highly distinctive and exclusive tone is maintained inside the vehicle where a carefully balanced combination of piano lacquer and carbon elements - especially in the areas within the driver's reach and immediate field of view - creates an atmosphere of dynamic elegance. The new Maybach 57 S can be found in the luxury brand's Center of Excellence in Sindelfingen from November 2005. Maybach meets even the most unusual customer requests The Maybach high-end luxury saloons at the Frankfurt Motor Show also illustrate the exceptional scope for individualisation offered by the brand. One example on show is a Maybach 57, for which the specialists at the Manufaktur have developed a paint finish identical to that of the Maybach "Zeppelin" model of 1933. And the similarities don't end there: although the two vehicles were manufactured almost 75 years apart, they share not only the same paint finish, but also the same interior appointments and even the same chassis number. Moreover, they belong to the same owner! The Maybach presence at the Frankfurt show demonstrates that the Manufaktur is also passionately committed to meeting other unusual customer requests with outstanding craftsmanship and painstaking attention to every detail. This is reflected in features such as trim elements finished in gold and precious stones, gold keys, family coats of arms and various forms of intricate inlay work. Maybach attains the ultimate in individualisation with the exciting Exelero Sports Coupé. Built as a one-off, this model, which was commissioned by the tyre manufacturer Fulda, is capable of speeds in excess of 350 km/h.
